There has been extensive research on the effects of Reiki on many types of illnesses and conditions. Reiki is currently available in many hospitals in this country. It is being used to facilitate relaxation and recovery, decrease anxiety and treat pain in hospices, nursing homes, emergency rooms, operating rooms, organ transplantation care units and children's wards.
As I was a Staff Nurse for many years I have a keen interest in health and wellbeing. I am, therefore, very happy to provide this treatment and help in any way possible to make life easier and more comfortable for those who would like a little extra help. (Please note that this does not replace any treatment prescribed by your Doctor.)
What to expect:
Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive form of healing with you resting on a therapy couch fully clothed.Sometimes a treatment can leave you feeling warm and soothed. At other times, the gentle flow of energy moving through you may feel like a cleansing of the mind and soul.
It is very safe and the benefits of a treatment can stay with you for a long time.
